Supporting our School

BFPS Volunteers

There are a number of ways parents/carers can support our school with fundraising opportunities.

Join Our Brilliant Barnes Farm Volunteer Team 2026-27

We are delighted to be holding a Volunteer Recruitment Meeting on Tuesday 13th October at 9:10am at school, and we would love to welcome some fresh faces to join our already wonderful team of volunteers.

Come along for a relaxed morning with tea and cake, while we explain a little more about volunteering at Barnes Farm, how the process works and the many different ways you can get involved.

Our existing volunteers are also very warmly invited to come along, enjoy a cup of tea and some cake, and have a catch-up with us. We are so grateful for everything you already do to support our school and would love to see you there too.

One of the most important ways our volunteers support us is by reading with our children. Developing a love of reading is incredibly important to us as a school, and having an adult spend time listening to a child read, sharing books and encouraging them can make such a difference.

We would also love volunteers who may be able to join us on school trips or lend a helping hand during our afternoon Forest School sessions.

Whether you can give a little time regularly or help us occasionally, we would be delighted to hear from you. Mums, dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles and other family members are all very welcome!

Please come along, have a cuppa and a slice of cake, and find out how you could become part of our fantastic Barnes Farm volunteer community. We would love to see you there!

If you are unable to attend the Volunteer Recruitment Meeting but would like to volunteer, please collect an applicaation pack from the school office.
